Wednesday 24th - thirteen competitors for the Chook Run and the winner was M Summerill with 18 points over Col Beard and Barney Woodward, both on 17.  Richard Ireland scored the only NTP.  Later in the day the Short Course where playing partners Brian Woollard and G Gilfeather commandeered the winners’ podium scoring 23.1 and 23.3 respectively.  G Gilfeather also won the first target hole, the second going to D Glanville.
Thursday 25th - 11 players this week in the 9 Hole Medley.  The winner was Greg Hawke on 19 points, the R/U Marg Girdwood on 18. Marg also scored one NTP, the second was taken by Richard Jordan.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery to our regular player and Pennant team stalwart Jan Monico - we missed you!  The Seniors took to the course in the afternoon for a Stroke competition where Greg McLagan was victorious with nett 47 over Graeme O’Connor’s 48 on a C/B. Balls went to Tony Brown, Stan McCabe and Warwick Knight.  Greg and Warwick took two of the NTPs, with the third going to Rowan Hickson.
Saturday 27th - a Single Stableford comp sponsored by Coffs Motorworld.  A Grade champ was Col Osland with 37, Jayden Taylor the R/U with 36 on a C/B.  The best scores this week were all in B Grade - Mike Edsall’s 41 points just beating Michael Bekker’s fine 40.  NTPs went to Mike Edsall, Smithy, Ruth Hall, Toby Cuthel, John Molloy and Jayden Taylor. Balls went to 36 on a C/B and included Col Hoskins, Toby Cuthel, Ross Williams, Smithy, John Molloy and Doug Lowe. Next week we have the qualifying round of the Keno NSW Men’s and Ladies’ Fourball.  Sign up for a chance to win some great prizes in a statewide tournament.
